a Sort of Homecoming
It began in the early '90s in Ghent, a city that still pulses with underground energy.
What started as a student job turned obsession in the Overpoortstraat grew organically into a musical journey.
Hunting for records at Music Mania, the first steps behind the decks - driven by the hypnotic rhythm of the night.
Years filled with late-night frequencies and thousands of people on the dancefloor. And suddenly, out of nowhere: personal loss. A deep, necessary silence. The decks stayed bare. The booth stayed dark.
Those years of silence reset the sound. The desire for that unique connection, born only on a dancefloor, never faded. The focus is fixed - straight ahead.
Lately, that single question kept resonating—quietly at first, then growing louder: ‘When are you playing again ?’
I hear you.
Expect no grand, massive comeback and absolutely no nostalgic retro trip. This autumn, I am planning two small, intimate sessions.
Two first, cautious steps with the sound of now, to feel once again what happens when the right music, a physical space, and people come together.
Perhaps 2027 will truly become… a sort of homecoming.
